CLT (CA) elects officers and board members annually. Our Fraternal year runs from October 1st to September 30th. In addition to officers, we have Committee Chairman who guide various working committees which support CLT (CA)’s work.

Below are our elected Officers for the 2025-26 Fraternal Year!

Polemarch - Sean Gibson

Sean Gibson

Sean C. Gibson, MBA is the 2025-26 CLT (CA) Chapter Polemarch. He was initiated into the Fraternity Fall 2019 at CLT(CA).

He has served in several capacities as a 2021 Western Province Keeper  of Records and Keeper of the Exchequer Interview Selection Nominations Committee member; the 2022-23 Chapter Keeper of Records; a 2022-23 Chapter Guide Right Committee member; a 2021-22 Chapter Board of Directors Member; a 2021-22 Chapter Guide Right Committee member; the 2021-22 Chapter Nomination Committee Chairman; and the 2020-21 Chapter Nomination Committee Chairman.

Polemarch Gibson has an AA in General Studies, and BS in Business Management, an MBA, and a Graduate Human Resource Certificate.

He served our country faithfully for 22 years retiring as a Master Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps.

Vice Polemarch (Vice President) Commander, Dr. Alphonso Cedric Wilcox

Dr. A. Cedric Wilcox

Served 32 years in the United States Navy. Started as enlisted, promoted from E-1 to E-7 (Chief). Attended San Jose State University and U.C. Berkeley for BS leading to commission as an officer. Promoted from O-1 through O-5 (Commander).

Served 7 years in the Federal Government as a Civil Servant, promoted from GS-13 through GS-15. Worked in program management and systems engineering on numerous classified programs.

Kappa Man for 33 years, initiated Fall 1992 with the Pensacola Alumni Chapter. Served as an officer in several chapters. Currently serving as Vice Polemarch in the CLT (CA) Chapter. Chairman for multiple committees over 33 years.

Education

Keeper of the Exchequer (Treasurer) – Ron Sampson

Is the Base Manager at March ARB, California Boeing Defense Systems C-17 & KC-46 Field Services Ron Sampson is the Base Manager for the C-17 & KC-46 Field Services Integrated Product Team (IPT) supporting the USAF at March Air Reserve Base (MARB), CA.

Ron is responsible for all sustaining Engineering, Technical, Aircrew Training Systems, Engine Management, Repair and Modifications Services (RAMS), and Supply Field Services Customer Support at March ARB, CA. Ron Sampson joined The Boeing Company in 1988 and is currently the Site Manager for the C-17 & KC-46 Field Services Integrated Product Team (IPT), supporting the USAF at March ARB.

Previous assignments include Site Manager for the C-17 Field Services Product Team (IPT) supporting the USAF at Hickam AFB, HI. Most recently, Ron served for five years as the Site Manager at Memphis Air National Guard Base (ANGB), TN. Ron was responsible for standing up a new C-17 base, at Memphis ANGB, converting from the existing C-5 cargo aircraft to the newer C-17 airlifter.

Ron also served in several management and leadership positions with the C-17 Field Services Engineering Technical support teams at McChord AFB, WA and Charleston AFB, SC. Ron is an Electrical Design Engineer, by trade, and excelled in the C-17 Electrical Engineering Design Group in Long Beach, California. Ron was selected as part of the initial cadre of engineers to standup the first operational C-17 Base.

Ron served over six years as the Electrical and Avionics/Flight Controls Engineer at Charleston AFB, South Carolina. Ron has over 35 years of experience with The Boeing Company in various Management, Air Vehicle Engineering, and Support Systems positions. Ron also served four years, reaching the rank of Captain, in the United States Air Force, as an Electrical Engineer in the 22nd Civil Engineering Squadron, March AFB, California. Ron earned an Executive Aerospace and Defense Master of Business Administration (ADMBA) degree, graduating from the University of Tennessee’s Executive Aerospace and Defense Program, in 2016.

Ron also holds a Bachelors Degree of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Kentucky. Ron has completed graduate course work in Electrical Engineering at the US Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

Ron is married to the former Rosalind Watts of Los Angeles, California. They have five children – Shelton, Tiffany, Avis, Isaiah and Olivia. Hobbies include basketball, coaching, swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and now Memphis music. Keeper of Records (Secretary), Historian, Reporter – Pierre Towns

As Managing Partner of Human Resources Capital Consultants, Inc., an Organization Development consulting firm, Brother Towns’ responsibilities include designing and delivering, strategic and tactical services to For-profit, Nonprofit and Government enterprises.

Additionally, Brother Towns is the former Chief Talent Officer for Room to Read, an International Non-Governmental Organization, Lecturer at USC and CSU San Marcos, a Mediation Panelist for the American Arbitration Association, SVP, Board Secretary, & Chief Administrative Officer of MedUnite Inc., Head of HR for DreamWorks, and Head of Human Resources and Administration for ARCO Latin America.

He is a Charter member of the Eta Zeta of Kappa Alpha Psi, a Charter member of the Carlsbad-Laguna-Temecula Alumni Chapter (CA) and a Western Province Randall C. Bacon Awardee.

Brother Towns has a BA in Administrative Studies and a BS in Economics from the University of California at Riverside.  He earned his MBA in General Management and Organization Development from the University of Southern California.

In his spare time, Brother Towns is a Board member and volunteers with several nonprofit organizations.

Strategus (Sergeant of Arms) – Brent F. Burton

Brent Burton

Brent F. Burton was born and raised in the Crenshaw / Leimert Park district, in the southwestern portion of the city of Los Angeles.  In 1985 he was hired as a firefighter with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. At the age of 28, Brother Burton was promoted to the rank of Captain.  During his 37-year history with the fire service, he has worked in some of the Department’s most challenging assignments and he has been able to develop many community-based projects and mentor countless individuals that desired to become firefighters and promote to positions of higher authority. 

Brother Burton’s community-based work has included serving in leadership capacities for several organizations, such as the Los Angeles County Black Firefighters Association, known as the Stentorians, the African American Firefighter Museum, the Junior Firefighter Youth Foundation, the 100 Black Men of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles CARES Mentoring Movement and the Village Nation.

After retiring from the Fire department, Brother Burton continues his passion for education and mentoring. He serves as a Board member and instructor at the Carl Holmes’ Executive Development Institute on the campus of Dillard University in New Orleans La.  He is a Career Technical Education instructor for the Los Angeles Unified School District where he teaches at Dorsey High School in Los Angeles.  He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity incorporated where he serves as the chairman of the Guide Right (Youth Mentoring) Committee for the Carlsbad-Laguna-Temecula CLT (CA) alumni chapter. 

Brother Burton holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and a Management Certificate in Nonprofit management.   Brother Burton is the proud father of three adult children and he currently resides with his wife Toya Mack-Burton in southwest Riverside County California.

Trenton Davis

Beyond his professional achievements, he is an engaging public speaker, dedicated mentor, and fervent advocate for diversity in technology. 

Trenton holds an MBA from North Carolina A&T State University, where he served as Class President, and a Bachelor of Science from Kennesaw State University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies at North Carolina A&T State University, further solidifying his expertise in shaping future leadership.

Friedel Greene

Brother Greene was born Memphis Tennessee and grew up in Bonita, California. He attended Tennessee State University and San Diego State University.  After college, Brother Greene, started his career in the car business. 

Throughout his 27-year career, he worked mainly with BMW in every position in the variable department; Salesperson, Used Car Manager, New Car Manager, Finance Manager and General Sales Manager. 

In 2018 Brother Greene graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Automotive Sales and Marketing. 

Brother Greene comes from a long line of Kappa Men; his father, uncle and grandfather. As a result, this was a path he always wanted to follow. He crossed Spring 2024 and states, “It has been an amazing honor to be in this noble clan”.
